What the Complete Edition includes

Erika Ishii on a year with Atsu
Ishii says the role still feels like a fever dream. She played The Last of Us and decided that was what she wanted to do, so seeing herself on her PlayStation home screen, travelling to Tokyo Game Show and being cosplayed as Atsu on the PlayStation stage in Japan were dream moments.
Recording the expansion
Ishii returned to record dialogue for Echoes of Sekigahara a couple of months after finishing the main story. She says she asked constantly during production whether there would be DLC, because Iki Island had fleshed out parts of Atsu’s backstory she wanted to explore. She even had a list of pitches, though none were used, and she discussed ideas with the expansion’s writer Courtney Woods.
