Valheim has officially left Early Access. Version 1.0 arrived on September 9, 2026 and, according to community guides, also brings the Viking survival game to PlayStation 5 for the first time.
What is new at launch
- Full release: the game exits Early Access with its 1.0 version.
- New platforms: a PlayStation 5 version is reported alongside PC and Xbox.
- Crossplay: players on different platforms are reported to meet on a server that was started with the crossplay option, then join with a code. Up to 10 players per server are reported.
Good to know
