ARK: Survival Ascended is a survival game in which you tame dinosaurs, build bases and live on a dangerous island with other players. Tribes work best when they can include everyone, so the crossplay rules matter before you pick a server.
Guides report that PS5 and Xbox Series X|S players share every official server, in both PvE and PvP. PC and console can play together on official PvE servers, while PC-to-console play is blocked on official PvP servers since January 2024 because the anti-cheat work for the PC build is still in progress. Unofficial servers can allow any combination with a platform setting in the server configuration.
