Playing Genshin Impact with friends across platforms
Genshin Impact is a free open-world action RPG where you explore the world of Teyvat with a team of characters. Co-op lets you visit a friend's world, so crossplay is useful when your friends play on a phone, a PC or a console.
Press guides report that players on PC, mobile, PlayStation and Xbox can meet in the same multiplayer world. The important condition is that both players are on the same regional server. A HoYoverse account links your platforms and keeps your progress, so you can continue on another device without starting again.
To play together, check that you chose the same server region, add your friend by their UID and send a co-op request. If the request fails, confirm that both of you meet the in-game requirements for co-op, such as the adventure rank needed to unlock it.
