Playing Grounded with friends across platforms
Grounded is a survival game in which you and your friends are shrunk to the size of ants and have to gather resources, build bases and fight insects in a backyard. It supports co-op, so crossplay lets everyone join regardless of platform.
Obsidian added PlayStation and Nintendo Switch players to the crossplay pool in April 2024. On Steam, Xbox and the Windows Store, crossplay is enabled by default. On PS4, PS5 and Switch you opt in by linking a free Microsoft or Xbox account, using the Enable Crossplay option and an in-game code.
Before inviting friends, agree who hosts and make sure the Microsoft account link is complete on PlayStation and Switch. Update the game on every device, because version mismatches stop friends from joining.
