Playing Remnant II with friends across platforms
Remnant II is a co-op action shooter with souls-like boss fights, randomly generated worlds and a squad of up to three players. The game plays best with friends, so crossplay was the feature fans asked for most after launch.
Press reports say an update added crossplay between PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, covering the main campaign and the Awakened King expansion. On PC crossplay is enabled automatically. On console you link your account to Epic Games and switch on the crossplay setting. Both players must have matching crossplay settings to join each other.
Before you start, update the game, make sure the Epic link is done and the crossplay flag is on, then invite friends through the in-game system. If the invite fails, check that the settings match and that everyone runs the same game version.
